1. What this service is
Golf Carry is a calculator that estimates how much the distance of each club changes with temperature, altitude, humidity and wind. It is provided by David Azulay. By using the app you accept these terms.
The most important thing in this whole document: the numbers you see are estimates based on field approximations, not an exact physics simulator. They are there to orient you on the course. Do not treat them as a measurement, and do not hold us responsible for the club you picked.
2. The two plans
- Free. The full calculator, with no account and no usage limit. It saves nothing: when you close the app you go back to the default values.
- Pro. For now it is purchased in the iPhone app (App Store) or the Android app (Google Play). It enables saving your bag, weather by location and syncing across devices. The web does not process payments. You can cancel whenever you want from the store.
3. Payments
The price is shown before you confirm the purchase. Payment is processed by the store (App Store or Google Play). The web does not sell Pro and does not process payments. We never receive or store your payment details.
The purchase is tied to your account, not to the device: if you change phones, log in with the same email and Pro is still enabled.
4. Refunds
- Purchases on iOS or Android: handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. We can neither issue nor deny them.
- Purchases on the web: there are no web sales for now.
When a purchase is refunded, the account goes back to the free plan and can no longer save the bag.
5. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password secret.
- One email, one account. Don't share yours.
- You can delete it whenever you want from the app. Doing so permanently erases your data and there is no refund of the purchase.
6. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break the service, access other people's data, automate bulk requests or resell access. We may suspend accounts that do.
7. Availability
We do what is reasonable to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee it runs without interruptions. The calculator keeps working offline: what needs the internet is the automatic weather and syncing your bag.
8. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for decisions made from the app's estimates. Our total liability will never exceed what you have paid for the service.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If the change is significant, we notify you by email or inside the app. Continuing to use it afterwards means accepting them.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Córdoba, Argentina, and any dispute will be submitted to its courts.
